Review on Renewed Apple MacBook Air: 11.6-Inch HD+ Laptop πŸ’» with Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD by Haraki Itsuki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

I use laptops of this format mainly on trips and vacations. I've been using my Macbook for 2 years now. Before that there were Acer (already forgot which one) and Asus Eee PC. There is nothing even to compare with Acer, since the latter, immediately after the end of the warranty, first one button flew out, and then 2 more. It was replaced by Asus Eee PC, which I used for 4 years. I can’t say something very bad about it, but I didn’t feel much comfort from owning it, although I took it in the most powerful configuration with licensed Windows 7 on board. Well, he is inferior to Air in general in everything. In terms of format, screen size, they are similar, but Air is certainly thinner. But I will not say that it is critical for me. But in terms of weight, the difference is felt very strongly, although in numbers it may not be impressive. Air is just a feather compared to Asus. Someone may say that you cannot compare a 6 year old beech with a 2 year old one. Maybe, but I specifically looked at what ASUS is doing now in this segment. And everything is the same, practically nothing has changed, the configurations are the same, the weight is almost the same. The screen quality is much higher on Air, although their resolution is identical. On Asus, light colors were simply indistinguishable. Viewing angles on Air are excellent for TNki, unlike Asus. On the Air, there are no problems with the buttons and touchpad at all. On the same Asus, the touchpad was repaired under warranty, it was buggy. Somewhere after a year of use, some buttons began to be pressed not very clearly. When typing fast, characters were lost. You no longer remember these problems. For any needs, performance is enough for the eyes - working with documents, surfing the Internet, watching a movie, even developing a photo from RAW and processing it is not a problem. Everything slowed down on Asus, even the browser. Of course, it is worth noting for those who are not particularly smart that such devices are not created for games, but for work. Well, the battery is just a song, it holds well, it charges quickly. Ideal book for travel. In general, though expensive, but high quality. This technique saves a lot of nerves.

Pros
  • Lightweight and mobile OS X (objectively faster than Windows) Nimble (for their tasks) The touchpad and buttons work like clockwork (trust me, this is worth a lot on laptops)
Cons
  • No, if you do not demand from him what he is not designed for.
