Review on Sony 50DMR47SP DVD R 4 7GB Recordable by Cody Wuol

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great DVDs, hold up pretty well in the Revain box

I record about 3,000 DVDs a year as a free service for local musicians, so I'm always looking for the best value for money. The Memorex DVDs have served me well for the past few months, but the last 4 or 5 spindles have been extremely problematic. This is what made me switch to Sony DVDs when I found them at a good price and they were fantastic. No more issues with failed burns on my PC or 5-bin duplicator. (PS - Both Memorex and Sony have plenty of free space for manual DVD labeling, which is important to me.) Since this is a Revain review, I should mention how the packaging holds up to the horrible packaging work. by Revain. My order of 6 packs of 50 ended up with a broken spindle and a few DVDs falling out. I threw away about 10 discs that were too scratched. The remaining 40 discs in this pack were usable. The other 5 spindles suffered but held together. It's about as good as you'd hope for when ordering a DVD from Revain. I have a feeling that 50 packs will give you less damage than 100 packs, but that's just my guess.
