Revainrating 5 out of 5

16 y.o. cat that hates everything but food and cuddles loves this!

At least, so far she loves it! It's been 2 days and I've taken it out a couple times each day. She went up to it immediately after I turned it on, watched for a couple seconds, then started swiping at the feather thing or trying to get the ball out of the toy. She will put her paws in and has not gotten hurt. (Note: do put the ball inside the toy, it gives your cat 2 different moving things to focus on so they are less likely to get bored.) My cat can catch the feather, and will bite it and try to "kill" it, and her claws have gotten stuck, but it's time for a trim. I'm calling it a feather but it is actually more like stuffed animal material in the shape of a feather, so it's sturdier than a real feather. My cat is not into most toys even though she still does get that crazy look in her eyes and run around for a minute, maybe up her cat tree and back down. She may get into "ground prey" toys but only if I spend a long time moving them around first, and I don't always have the 30 minutes or so that it takes to play with her like that. Toys like this that I can put down while I am doing something else are really great to have, given that my cat is very needy. I'm buying one for my sister's cat next!
