I used this tent for about 3 weeks on a road trip. The initial set up is a bit confusing but there is a YouTube video that walk you through it. I set it up starting in my bed which i found easier than starting on the ground and then moving it to the bed.PROS: Aluminum rods are sturdy. I did have one bend for the section for the entrance, but it didn’t make a difference in the performance.Tons of space inside, I’m 5’4” and could almost stand up straightHad wind gusts of 10-15mph one night and the tent held its ownYou’re not on the ground, so helps keep you warmer through colder nightsCONS: the slots for the rods on the dome part are already started to rip after a couple uses. I reinforced with some duct tape so the rod doesn’t go through and it’s holding for now.The material is thin. I didn’t have any rain, but did have a couple mornings of dew, and it seeped into the inside of the tent and drippedThe middle hook has to go across your paint but i did take some cloth and wrapped it around the hook so it didn’t scratchOverall this tent saved me so much time because i just slipped the rod out of its slot, folded it in, and then put my tonneau cover over my bed so all i had to do each night was put the rods back in. I got so many compliments, and i will definitely continue to use this tent for camping trips
