Don’t touch something if they r damp

Perfect for lifting hot jars out of my canner and I also do pottery and saves my widdle fingers many times. Today I grabbed a tray of hot turnovers n darn near burnt my hands off. Best I can figure is they were damp inside. Didn’t feel wet outside but it sure hurt taking aPoint away for these things holding water without feeling wet!
