Probably better options

This one's hard to put a finger on. You can only expect so much from a desk around $100, but there were some questionable design choices that dropped the score for me. First off, it does the job. It wasn't a big deal to set up and it's sturdy enough. The desk is fairly wobbly (minor shimmy when I'm typing) and I'm worried with the quality that it will wobble worse as time goes on. Two things really made me scratch my head about the design though. There are bars that run between the legs on either side at the bottom adding a bit of stability, but there isn't one for the two back legs. That's where pretty much all of the wobble is coming from. In addition to that, the desk top bolts to the frame with regular bolts and no washers. It bolts through wide holes in the metal frame and it would be VERY easy to pop the bolts through the frame. While there are warnings about this clearly placed in the instructions, I think for a few cents more they could have added some washers to eliminate any worries. In summary, this desk does the job. But some corners were clearly cut that really shouldn't have been.
