Review on Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60 R16 95V summer by Wiktor Redziski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Performs its functions, nothing unusual.

Mileage 10 thousand km. in general, it suits and meets expectations, but I drive carefully, always remembering the soft sidewalls. For lovers of aggressive driving, and for fans of curb storming, rubber will not work. 09202222. At the end of the season, I decided to supplement the review and lower the rating from 4 to 3. Over the past 10 years, I skated 4 sets of Nokian Nordman (2 summers and 2 winters), there were no problems with the wheels, not a single puncture, I didn’t even have to pump them up, I already started to forget how to use the jack and compressor. But then I bought Kumho and in the very first season I got a puncture and there is already a patch. I drive on the same roads, the same terrain, no change in driving style, one might say - a coincidence or bad luck, but I tend to think that Nokian knows why they are pushing the price of their tires. I remembered the old saying - "do not save on rubber men."

Pros
  • 185/65/15 1. Adequate price / quality ratio. 2. Soft, but after switching from the Norman SX, I did not notice much acoustic difference. 3. Normal handling and in the rain up to 100 km/h, and dry up to 140 km/h. I got into a heavy downpour on the road with ruts, 60-70 km / h keeps sure.
Cons
  • 1. Soft, weak sides, only the outer side is reinforced with cord. It is clearly not worth falling into non-normative pits.
