Easy to install and the second one worked with no modifications through the coax output. Maybe my coax wallcovering is different from others here? I didn't buy them because of child protection. I bought these to cover an outlet next to the fish tank and to cover a coax cable that for some stupid reason was running halfway down my wall so the cable was sticking out and annoying all the time. While they're not supposed to be waterproof, I don't see how water can get behind the tank next to mine as it has no holes and sits flush with the wall. Even if that were the case (which I doubt) it wouldn't be enough to cause a problem as if exposed. At first they were difficult to open, but now they open very easily. What I did was push in the tabs on both before screwing the plate on. This helped make them less stiff and easier to open. However, if you use them to protect children, I wouldn't do it. They don't really fit a larger plug, say an extension cord, but if the plug is flat it's not a problem as my aquarium has that. I also painted both of them to match my walls. I roughed them up, first with a spray primer and then with interior acrylic paint, which I left in the rooms where they were installed to blend in better. - Not much to complain about when you can get two for five bucks.
