I bought this gate after buying another passage gate. Regalo Easy Open Super Wide Walk Thru Gate - White I had to sell this gate because the only way to make it secure was to screw cups into the door frame. Otherwise it's loose enough for my 24 lb dog to push. I wish I had bought it straight away! Sometimes you really do get what you pay for and this is one of those times. Yes, Regalo gates cost half as much, but they're completely unsafe. KidCo goals are amazing. Very easy to install. VERY durable. This one doesn't move! Also, it has the advantage that the hole you go through is much wider than the regalo. Also, there's nothing sticking out of the hole to get caught on clothing like Regalo. Easy to open and swing in any direction, which is convenient. It is beautiful, heavy and looks very nice. The dogs are locked in, but I can get through with a load of laundry without lowering the gate and without risking life or limb climbing over it. Overall, I highly recommend this gate. This is a tall height that cats can easily jump over, but high enough for dogs to hold. Great goals worth the extra money.
