Sturdy and reliable
I've traditionally used Petzl carabiner for climbing and I was looking for something that was cheap for getting my hammock up. These have a screw lock gate and are rated 25KN/8KN which is more than fine for a hammock. You get two for the price of one Petzl carabiner. I went out and put the hammock up this weekend while camping and they felt sturdy and reliable to use. I wish they were stamped with the pull force rating so that I don't forget in the future.
