Review on Sony WIC400/L Wireless Behind-Neck In-Ear Headphones, Blue by Agata Dmochowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality didn't let me down.

Time of use: April-August. The headphones were purchased in the first week of mass self-isolation as a matter of urgency for an interview, as their predecessors WI-C310 were once again lost. I chose on the principle of bluetooth, price category, battery life and with a rim, for a spontaneous interview in Wats Up. From the pros: 1) they are very comfortable to run with. The earplugs do not fall out of the ears, the rim does not interfere. 2) it is very convenient to wear this configuration when you go on business: you are not afraid that the headphones will get tangled in clothes or hair and fall silently, the rim securely fixes them on the neck. 3) signal receiving distance. You can safely walk around the apartment between rooms without a phone. 4) hold a charge very well Of the shortcomings: 1) clear but flat sound, no bass at all. Not like Chinese plugs for 500, but all compositions in the genre of "metal" or "folk" sound absolutely flat. By comparison, the WI-C310 in the same price range had very decent sound, comparable to older wired air pods. 2) in headset mode, the interlocutor in 2 out of 3 cases complains that he can’t hear you well 3) it is inconvenient to connect the headphones to another device after they have already been connected somewhere. For example, to the laptop after the phone. The pairing mode is turned on by magic: according to the instructions, you need to hold the button harder, but out of 5 attempts I managed to turn on this mode only once, and the shutdown always works. 4) the charge indicator is disgusting: either constantly "fully charged", then hoba, 70 percent, then half, and bam, already discharged, all this in two hours)) 5) the headphones are flimsy in appearance. No, they haven’t broken or torn yet, but you hold them in your hands: a thick plastic rim is ok, and the wires are very flimsy and the plugs themselves too. Summary: the flat sound did not come as a surprise to me, I read the reviews before buying, I saw the little eyes (or ears) that they took. Suitable for sports or unpretentious hearing.
