Review on Tonton Wireless Security Camera System With Floodlight And 2-Way Audio, 4CH NVR And 7" Touchscreen Monitor by Sam Pullen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very Affordable and Great Quality

The Good:Excellent night vision! Honestly, I was expecting somewhat mediocre quality night vision for this very affordable security system. I was quite pleasantly surprised at it's quality. No false alarms. This system has yet to send a false alarm. The cameras are set up in the courtyard and it's entryway which have very limited activity. The customer service is spot on. I dread having to contact ANY customer service, especially if I'm already frustrated with a new gadget, but fortunately this security system has been mostly pretty easy to set up - except. I was having a recording issue, so I contacted customer service and got it all straightened out quickly. In all fairness it was user error - but it's comforting to know Tonton's customer service is there if needed again. The Bad:The User Manual could really use an overhaul. If someone is setting up and using a security system as a first time user, the set up process may take a bit longer to figure out. It's not intuitive, but, as I mentioned in The Good, their customer service is excellent. So, it's not actually "bad" but I would love to have cameras that are both AC and DC powered. And have the option to use either. It would make it just a smidge easier to move the cameras, should that be necessary.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The camera lenses may not capture the entirety of the surroundings, leaving blind spots in the footage
