Charging lights don't go off

I liked the fact that this plugs in with USB C (which is what the phones in my household use) and that it can charge 8 batteries at once, and not in pairs. That's about where the likes end. The device simply wasn't well thought out. There is only a single LED for each of the 8 slots on the charger, and it is only one color.green. WHY? Green universally would mean that charging is complete. In this case, if the green LED is on, your batteries are still charging (why wasn't this LED made red?). Allegedly, when it turns off they are done. I say allegedly because this never happened for me, they simply never go off. After many hours on the charger, i pulled the batteries out and measured them with a meter; they were charged, but the unit did not indicate that. Put them back in, LEDs turn green again and the dance continues. Tried with a total of 6 batteries, including some that were brand new and pre-charged; the unit still took them in and "charged" them for hours, until I just took them out and gave up.

Pros
  • The charger's sleek and modern design makes it a great addition to any home or office
Cons
  • The power cable is too short and may require an extension cord
